You will craft computational problems for AI systems using real scientific software, including scikit-rf and ngspice. Strong Python skills and a Linux/terminal mindset are essential for building problem setups, validators, and remote compute workflows.

Work independently with feedback, while collaborating asynchronously to meet deadlines in a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a relevant STEM field or equivalent research experience.
• Proven proficiency with scientific software libraries through research publications, open-source contributions, or professional work.
• Strong Python skills for writing problem setups, oracle functions, and validators.
• Experience with Linux/terminal environments and remote compute sandboxes.
• Availability for 15–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging computational problems to test AI systems using real scientific software.
