Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years in healthcare Revenue Cycle, revenue integrity, billing, coding, reimbursement, or related experience.
• Knowledge of hospital and professional charge capture, charge-master functions, billing workflows, and compliance considerations.
• Experience interpreting CMS and other payer guidelines affecting charging and billing.
• Proven leadership experience directing work, setting priorities, and coaching staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Revenue Integrity team, including staffing, coaching, and development.
• Set team priorities aligned with Revenue Cycle and Michigan Medicine objectives.
• Oversee maintenance of charge masters, fee schedules, and related tables.
• Govern charge methodologies and automated/manual charge-capture workflows.
• Oversee design/build/testing of charge-related rules and edits.
• Collaborate with clinical, technical, and financial stakeholders to improve revenue capture.
