Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant coding and charge control work experience in a hospital and/or Physician Practice environment.
• Experience with revenue cycle, billing, coding and/or patient financial services.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, data entry, and hospital operations.
• Experience with APC/OPPS reimbursement structures and OCE/CCI edits.
• Epic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze and report data to assist leadership in improving efficiency.
• Audit department information, produce reports, and suggest process improvements.
• Provide expertise in program services, applications and data management.
• Develop graphical data presentations to illustrate trends and ROI.
• Ensure CPT/ICD-10 documentation accuracy and charge capture quality.
