Job summary

Catholic Health seeks a Revenue Integrity Specialist to join a remote role based in New York State. You will act as the revenue liaison among revenue cycle, hospital, ambulatory services, and physician areas, ensuring accurate charge capture and revenue reconciliation.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business, CPC/CCS-P preferred, and 3+ years in charge documentation or charge capture. Proficiency in ICD/CPT coding and Epic is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities across management levels.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and deadlines.
• Experience with charge capture, revenue leakage, and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on correct charge capture and billing processes.
• Perform periodic charge capture reviews for PRC departments.
• Identify revenue trends and assist in resolving related issues.
• Identify opportunities to capture additional revenue per payer guidelines.
• Develop specs to modify charge capture apps to reduce edits.
• Coordinate research and implementation of charge capture for new services/tech.
• Collaborate with Coding and clinical departments to resolve ICD/CPT issues.
• Respond to charging inquiries and lead meetings on findings.
• Help develop revenue integrity training documentation and policies.
