Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Revenue Integrity Analyst to perform in-depth analysis of patient clinical and billing data to identify documentation, coding and denial prevention opportunities. You will develop action plans to improve revenue cycle efficiency and ensure compliance with billing regulatory guidelines.

The role collaborates with clinical areas and intra- and inter-departmental teams, participates in audits, and supports root-cause analysis to optimize charge capture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Nursing, or equivalent.
• Five+ years of billing, charge documentation, charge audit or related revenue cycle experience.
• Knowledge of physician practice coding (CPT/ICD-10).

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient clinical and billing data to identify documentation gaps and denial patterns.
• Develop action plans to prevent denials and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
• Coordinate denial management with intra-team and inter-departmental colleagues.
• Complete reports timely and ensure compliance with billing and regulatory guidelines.
