The role involves developing action plans based on root‑cause analysis to improve revenue cycle efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include audits, collaboration with clinical and PBS teams, and coordination of denials and appeals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in billing, charge documentation, or revenue cycle activities.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Access, and Business Objects; strong Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, revenue codes and modifiers; payer rules.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-depth analysis of patient clinical and billing data to identify documentation, coding and denial prevention.
• Develops and implements action plans for denial prevention based on root cause analysis findings.
• Promotes revenue cycle operational efficiency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates denials and appeals and/or reconsideration requests with PBS center; maintains denial/appeals logs.
