M Health Fairview is seeking a Revenue Integrity Charge Capture Coordinator in a full-time, remote-capable role. You will help ensure hospital and professional charges are captured accurately and posted within 24 hours of service, while collaborating with clinical and revenue cycle teams.

The ideal candidate holds RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC or equivalent, with experience educating teams and improving revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• Current coding credential such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or equivalent.
• Experience providing education and workflow support to clinical/operational teams.
• Knowledge of charge capture, coding principles, and revenue cycle operations.
• Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and drive improvements.
• Ability to resolve complex operational issues with accurate charge capture.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with clinical, IT, and Compliance to ensure correct charges.
• Acts as liaison to address charge questions and promote workflow improvements.
• Supports charge capture, reconciliation, and related workflows through training.
• Develops educational materials for leaders and clinical providers.
• Involves physicians and staff in education on orders-based charging and codes.
• Monitors queues for missed revenue and suggests timely corrections.
• Maintains understanding of records, coding, and applicable regulations.
• Uses reporting to monitor KPIs like open encounters and late charges.
• Conducts routine audits of charges across service lines.
• Recommends system edits to prevent missed charging scenarios.
• Adheres to Revenue Cycle Escalation Policy and quality standards.
