Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or healthcare.
• Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC) or auditing/healthcare compliance certification required.
• Minimum five years of hospital and professional billing experience (revenue integrity or billing operations).
• Experience leading revenue cycle projects or process improvements.
• Experience with CPT, HCPCS, ICD10-CM/PCS, revenue codes and code assignment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for revenue integrity and revenue cycle functions across registration, eligibility verification, coding, billing and charge reconciliation.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and reduce revenue leakage.
• Provide feedback, education, and change-management support to ensure regulatory compliance and improve charging practices.
• Coordinate with local and central services for payer audits and appeals processes.
