Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I to analyze and improve revenue-cycle processes within our hospital network. You will identify billing issues, collaborate with IT and clinical staff, and support system-wide applications.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, maintaining master files, testing scenarios, generating reports, and training staff. A strong background in healthcare revenue cycle and coding knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Experience in developing, implementing, operating, maintaining or using information systems in hospital/clinic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analytical review of the revenue cycle to identify and resolve billing and related problems in system applications.
• Act as an internal liaison to review, research, analyze, and resolve problems to ensure effective administration of system wide applications for integrated network operations.
• Assist in the development of procedures and standards; update and maintain dictionary tables and system master files; create test scenarios; prepare reports, documentation; oversee project status, communicate findings and train staff, as necessary.
