Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I to perform detailed analysis of the revenue cycle and resolve billing issues within system applications. The role acts as a liaison to review, research, and fix problems to ensure effective administration of network-wide applications.

Requires a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle, knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, and APCs, with ability to prioritize workloads and train staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of healthcare revenue cycle experience with background in research and analysis of billing problems.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding preferred.
• Knowledge of DRG’s and APCs preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and reprioritize workloads.
• Ability to contribute to staff development through teaching and example.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed analytical and statistical review of the revenue cycle to identify and resolve billing and related problems in system applications.
• Acts as a liaison to review, research, analyze, and resolve problems to ensure effective administration of system-wide applications.
• Assist in development of procedures and standards; update dictionaries and system master files; create test scenarios; prepare reports and documentation.
