Job summary

HealthPartners is hiring a Patient Financial Services Operations Coordinator to support revenue cycle operations through workflow optimization, system build support, and regulatory and payer research. This remote, 1.0 FTE role partners with leadership and frontline teams to advance compliant processes and improve operational performance across service areas.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field, or five years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Bachelor's degree or five years healthcare experience in related fields.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Project Management, coordination of resources, timelines and deliverables.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite to support reporting, analysis, and communication.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
• Analytical & Results-Oriented with focus on measurable outcomes in patient financial operations.
• Multitasking & Time Management to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Organizational Excellence to prioritize workload and streamline processes.
• Communication Skills to present complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Supports revenue cycle operations through workflow optimization and system build support.
• Manages operational documentation and regulatory/payer research.
• Collaborates with leadership, frontline teams and Compliance to strengthen performance across service areas.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business/Finance Administration, or related field

In lieu of a degree, five (5) years of recent experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle, medical insurance, and/or financial analysis
