Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle function. The role partners with Revenue Cycle leadership and the Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate, actionable reporting across systems.

The analyst will extract data from PMS like Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental, validate outputs, and help develop standardized performance metrics to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or related healthcare/dental analytics roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and key performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with practice management systems such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and/or Open Dental preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation) required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• College degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from practice management systems to support reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports for leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Partners with leadership to define KPI requirements and performance tracking methods.
• Works with Power BI/analytics teams to design, develop, and refine dashboards and outputs.
• Validates reports against source data to ensure accuracy.
• Identifies data discrepancies and works cross-functionally to resolve issues.
• Standardizes KPI definitions and reporting methodologies across teams.
• Maintains documentation on reporting logic, data sources, and metrics.
