Job summary

INNERGY is hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue accounting processes as the business grows. You'll handle revenue recognition, contract accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and ASC 606 compliance in a remote setup across the U.S.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in revenue accounting, CPA or public accounting experience, and strong GAAP knowledge within a SaaS environment. You will partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure scalable revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with revenue know-how.
• CPA or public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with SaaS or recurring-revenue contracts.
• Experience closing monthly/quarterly books and preparing revenue schedules.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Review contracts and determine accounting treatment for software, subscriptions, services.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain revenue and deferred revenue reporting; investigate variances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on contracts and pricing.
• Develop accounting memos and documentation for revenue recognition.
• Support forecasting and provide visibility into revenue trends and drivers.
• Identify opportunities to automate revenue processes and controls.
