Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue recognition, contract accounting, and month-end close in a growing SaaS environment. You’ll partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable revenue processes aligned with ASC 606 and GAAP.

The role focuses on revenue trends, complex contracts, and process improvements, with a path toward stronger controls and audit readiness. Remote work across multiple US states is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting with revenue focus.
• CPA or public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in SaaS or recurring-revenue models required.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience reviewing SaaS contracts and revenue arrangements.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to translate technical accounting into business guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition per ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Review contracts for revenue treatment of software, subscriptions, services.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close and related schedules.
• Maintain revenue reporting and investigate variances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on non-standard contracts.
• Develop and maintain accounting memos and documentation.
• Support forecasting, reporting, and audits of revenue processes.
• Drive process automation and strengthen internal controls.
