Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue accounting in a growing SaaS environment. You will own ASC 606 compliant revenue recognition, review contracts, and lead month-end and quarter-end close processes.

You will partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable revenue reporting. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, 5+ years in revenue accounting, and strong GAAP knowledge, with a track record in SaaS environments and a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive accounting, with revenue focus.
• Experience in SaaS, ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP.
• Review SaaS contracts and revenue streams.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Ability to translate accounting to business guidance.
• Detail oriented with cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfort with ambiguity and process building.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition in ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Review contracts for software, subscriptions, services.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close for revenue.
• Maintain revenue reporting; investigate variances.
• Collaborate on non-standard contracts and pricing.
• Develop accounting memos; document processes.
• Support forecasting; provide revenue insights.
• Seek automation to improve controls.
• Assist with audits and audit readiness.
• Act as revenue accounting SME for the org.
