Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue accounting as the business grows. You will handle revenue recognition, contract accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and ASC 606 compliance in a growing SaaS environment.

Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable revenue processes and support audits, while driving process improvements and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with revenue accounting focus.
• CPA or public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in SaaS or recurring-revenue businesses highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Review customer contracts and determine accounting treatment for software, subscriptions, and services.
• Manage revenue-related month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate revenue and deferred revenue reporting and investigate variances.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on non-standard contracts and pricing.
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition memos and documentation.
• Support audits and strengthen internal controls around revenue processes.
