Job summary

MeridianLight is seeking a Remote Insurance Sales Representative to conduct pre-set client appointments with teachers and public employees on retirement planning, from anywhere in the U.S.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you will work commission-based, meeting scheduled prospects, presenting life insurance, IUL, and annuities, and building client relationships through a CRM. Structured onboarding and ongoing training support your growth, with flexible scheduling and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active life insurance license or willingness to obtain before conducting insurance sales
• Must reside in the United States
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Comfortable using CRM systems and virtual communication tools
• Ability to follow established sales and compliance procedures
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Meet virtually with pre-scheduled prospective clients
• Learn about each client's financial situation, retirement goals, and concerns
• Educate clients about available retirement and financial protection strategies
• Present appropriate life insurance, IUL, and annuity solutions based on client needs
• Build professional, trust-based client relationships
• Follow up with prospective and existing clients
• Manage appointments and client activity through our CRM
• Follow a structured sales and documentation process
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
