Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent education/experience.
• Seven years of retirement industry or similar experience.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63, and Life insurance licenses, or obtain within six months.
• Thorough understanding of ERISA and retirement industry trends.
• Advanced knowledge of retirement programs and plan management.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency using MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business with strategic planning and annual reviews.
• Cross-sell products to deepen client relationships and profitability.
• Serve as escalation point for service issues and resolve with resources.
• Consult on qualified plan design issues and explain plan provisions.
• Analyze discrimination testing rules and advise on solutions.
• Advise on plan enhancements and conversions of contracts.
• Keep clients advised of product and service changes.
• Train clients on processes and systems used by participants and sponsors.
• Consult on participant communication strategies and enrollment materials.
• Manage plan termination requests and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay abreast of corporate actions and mergers impacting clients.
• Balance competing interests of clients and providers.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
