Job summary

Strongpoint Partners is seeking a Retirement Document Specialist to join The Finway Group as a remote role within the United States, with preference for Central and Eastern time zones. You will support onboarding of retirement plans focusing on documentation, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll collaborate with advisors, sponsors, and internal teams to ensure timely, precise onboarding, maintaining records and improving processes across partner organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3+ years in retirement plans, TPA operations, or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Highly organized with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and ownership mentality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate retirement plan documents (adoption, plan, trust agreements).
• Manage onboarding workflows from initial prep through execution and completion.
• Review documents for IRS/ERISA compliance and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with advisors, clients, and internal teams to gather information and meet timelines.
• Perform quality checks and identify discrepancies before finalizing documents.
• Maintain digital records and tracking throughout onboarding.
• Enter and maintain plan and client data across systems.
• Identify process improvements to onboarding workflows and efficiency.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes impacting documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality client experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
