Job summary

The Olson Group in Omaha, NE is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant & Advisor to serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of retirement plan clients, delivering strategic guidance and exceptional service.

You will collaborate with advisors, recordkeepers, custodians, and internal teams on plan governance, participant outcomes, and fiduciary compliance while driving growth across our retirement practice.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska Life and Health Insurance License or ability to obtain upon hire.
• FINRA Series 6 or Series 7, and Series 63/65/66 licenses.
• Knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b) and governmental plans.
• Experience managing client relationships and as primary contact for sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for retirement plan clients with strategic guidance.
• Lead client reviews focused on performance, fiduciary practices, and initiatives.
• Coordinate day-to-day service for 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b), and 414(h) plans.
• Support plan enhancements, vendor transitions, and implementations with a seamless experience.
• Provide governance and investment review support with advisors and pros.
• Deliver retirement plan education meetings and enrollment sessions.
• Collaborate with recordkeepers, custodians, brokers, and service providers on administration.
• Assist sponsors with questions, issue resolution, and service concerns.
