Job summary

Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Specialist to learn the full process of administering, testing and reporting on 401(k) plans in a fully remote role. You will review client documents, keep clients updated on progress and help prepare year-end filings including the IRS Form 5500, while growing toward an ESOP-focused career.

This role supports entrepreneurs nationwide and provides accelerated training, ongoing development, and a collaborative culture aligned with Guidant's values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in business/finance or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience in customer service or client communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate progress to clients and obtain required information.
• Prepare 401(k) plan government filings, including IRS Form 5500.
• Use administration software to complete testing and reporting.
• Provide education to clients on plan administration and documents.
