Job summary

Guidant Financial is offering a fully remote Retirement Plan Specialist role. You will learn to administer and report on 401(k) plans, review documents, and use Excel/software to ensure accurate filings. You will educate clients and maintain proactive communication throughout the plan year.

The position supports nationwide clients with flexible home-based work, a strong ESOP culture, and ongoing training to advance in plan administration.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Associate or bachelor's degree in business/finance or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of 401(k) plans and regulations preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office; ability to work autonomously.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate with clients.
Comfort with remote work and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Prepare annual reporting information for clients.
Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
Reconcile plans using Excel and related software.
Perform 401(k) testing and required filings.
Communicate progress to clients via calls and emails.
Educate clients about 401(k) plan administration.
