Job summary

Homestead Studio is seeking a Retention Strategist to lead client relationships and define Email + SMS strategies across campaigns. This mid-level role focuses on lifecycle optimization, reporting, and collaboration with design and copy teams to drive profitable growth.

You will oversee segmentation, testing, and automation, while delivering actionable insights to improve customer journeys. This fully remote role supports multiple time zones and business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Min. 2 years in email marketing.
• Min. 1 year managing Email + SMS accounts & strategy.
• Hands-on with Klaviyo / Postscript / Attentive.
• Experience segmenting email/SMS lists.
• Client relationship management experience.
• Experience developing marketing assets w/ creative/e‑commerce teams.
• Excellent communication & analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
• Manage end-to-end email production from ideation to scheduling.
• Assist with logic for email + SMS campaigns and automation.
• Oversee Email + SMS account strategy including segmentation and growth.
• Execute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly email reporting with analysis.
• Collaborate with creative team to identify trends and new strategies.
• Coordinate projects for new email triggers and transactional emails.
• Stay current on best practices and tools in email/SMS to meet KPIs.
