Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Customer Success or B2B retention roles.
• Proven ability to retain customers considering cancellation.
• Strong de-escalation and consultative communication skills.
• Experience coaching customer-facing teams.
• Ability to build retention playbooks and SOPs.
• CRM and data-driven prioritization experience.

Responsibilities

• Own retention for high-risk/high-value accounts using health metrics.
• Proactively reach out to at-risk customers before cancellations.
• Develop account-specific retention plans with timelines.
• Escalate complex cancellations and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
• Document conversations and outcomes in CRM.
• Identify recurring churn causes to improve processes.
