Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is hiring an Inside Sales professional for a remote role with the requirement to reside within 50 minutes of the Phoenix office when needed. You will respond to customer sales and cancellation requests, negotiate terms, and secure updated contracts to maximize revenue and retention.

The ideal candidate has 1 year in consumer sales and a track record in customer retention, with strong communication and negotiation skills. The position offers incentive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of consumer-based industry sales experience is expected.
• Nine months of proven success in a customer interaction role is required.

Responsibilities

• Sells and Saves by handling customer sales and cancellation requests, educating customers on contract details and obtaining commitments.
• Resolves escalations for customer service within the defined territory.
• Generates revenue growth using a consultative selling approach for current WM customers.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction and supports regional Sales Manager on issues.
• Reduces lost accounts by addressing cancellation requests.
• Improves revenue by planning sales and retention calls to avoid price rollbacks.
• Matches WM services to customer needs and communicates pricing strategies.
