Job summary

Simplistic, LLC is seeking a Retention Designer to join our remote Retention Team. This role focuses on the post-purchase customer journey and lifecycle marketing, owning email design, content strategy, and high-conversion interactions.

You will collaborate across copywriters and Klaviyo implementers, design for mobile-first email experiences, dark mode, accessibility, and deliverability-safe coding, while aligning with client brands within our Shopify/D2C framework.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in graphic design with at least 2+ years focused on marketing emails for e-commerce/DTC.
• Strong portfolio showing conversion-focused email and lifecycle work.
• Experience with Klaviyo or similar ESP platforms.
• Proficiency with cloud design tools like Figma.
• Advanced understanding of email design best practices.
• Experience with Shopify/Shopify Plus.
• Ability to manage multiple brands and projects while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and design high-performing email campaigns and automated flows.
• Apply email design best practices: mobile-first, visual hierarchy, clear CTAs.
• Ensure designs are accessible and tested for deliverability.
• Work within design systems and component libraries in Figma.
• Collaborate with copywriters and Klaviyo implementers from concept to deployment.
• Present design solutions using data-driven insights.
