Job summary

Snif, a fast-growing fragrance company, seeks a Retail Operations Manager to own end-to-end retail order management from receipt through invoicing. You will partner with Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Finance, and fulfillment partners to resolve issues and ensure commitments.

This hands-on role reports to the VP of Operations and supports a remote, travel-ready team focused on expanding retail distribution across major channels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in wholesale order management or retail operations within consumer products.
• Experience handling national retailer orders from receipt to invoicing and resolving cross-team issues.
• Experience with multiple distribution centers and retailer routing/compliance.
• Hands-on with EDI transactions and logistics providers to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Own daily retail order management across channels (Ulta, Amazon, future distributors).
• Validate POs against item data, pricing, inventory, and delivery requirements; resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Inventory on shortages and priorities; communicate risks with actions.
• Monitor EDI and retailer portals; fix missing/rejected documents and ensure data completeness.
• Prepare invoices, reconcile quantities, and work with Finance on discrepancies and deductions.
• Own readiness for new retailer launches with cross-functional handoffs.
• Maintain retailer-specific order reporting, deadlines, and action items; drive process improvements.
