Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized and analytical Remote Inventory Specialist to join a global supply chain team. You will forecast demand, set reorder points, and optimize stock levels across multiple distribution centers from a fully remote location.

Responsibilities include analyzing inventory data, developing control policies, managing EOQ and safety stock, and delivering regular reports while collaborating with procurement and sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in inventory management or related field.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) and advanced Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Business, or related.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and identify trends.
• Develop and implement inventory control policies to optimize stock.
• Set and manage reorder points, safety stock, and EOQ.
• Monitor performance metrics and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales to align supply and demand.
• Maintain accurate stock records using SAP/Oracle.
