Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to cover big box stores in the greater West Palm Beach area. You will support Department, Store and District Managers with product placement and in-store demonstrations.

This remote role requires daily travel to customer locations, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds. We offer competitive pay and benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Daily travel to and from company locations and/or customer locations; some overnight travel required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, perform repetitive motions and work from a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and achieves a consistent daily and weekly customer schedule, i.e. store visits, to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Proactively monitors proper inventory levels in the stores using cycle counts and reports.
• Participates in regional company training classes and events.
• Leads and participates in customer events; demos, product knowledge classes, contractor events, promos, and outreach programs.
• Builds and installs product displays and new store resets.
• Ensures product is safely stacked and secured.
• Provides shelf space optimization ideas to supervisor and team.
