Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a Retail Merchandiser to cover big box stores remotely in the El Paso, TX market. This role focuses on visiting stores, installing displays, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting store and district managers to meet customer needs.

The position involves frequent travel to customer locations, training participation, and representing Oldcastle at events. Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel to and from customer locations and local Oldcastle businesses.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs for reporting and scheduling.
• Use of basic hand and power tools in store displays and resets.
• Daily travel to and from company locations and customer sites; some overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and achieves a consistent daily and weekly customer schedule for store visits.
• Monitors inventory levels using cycle counts and reports; coordinate with service and replenishment teams.
• Participates in regional training classes and events.
• Leads or participates in customer events, product clinics, and contractor events.
• Builds and installs product displays and conducts store resets.
• Ensures product is safely stacked and secured; suggests improvements to maximize shelf space.
