Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a Retail Merchandiser to cover big box retail stores in the Roanoke area. This remote position requires residing in the Roanoke, VA market and entails frequent store visits, inventory checks, and event participation.

You will build displays, reset stores, and collaborate with store managers to optimize shelf space while traveling daily to customer locations and possibly overnight.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Daily travel to and from customer locations; some overnight travel.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work from a ladder in all weather.
• Remote role; must reside in the Roanoke, VA market.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and maintains a consistent daily/weekly store visit schedule.
• Monitors inventory levels in stores and collaborates with service/replenishment teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Attends regional training classes and events.
• Leads or participates in customer events and product knowledge sessions.
• Builds and installs product displays and store resets.
• Ensures product is safely stacked and secured.
• Shares ideas with supervisor to maximize shelf space.
