Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Retail Development Project Manager to lead growth projects across SD/IA, guiding independent Ace retailers through expansions, relocations, renovations, conversions, and new store development. You’ll manage scope, schedule, and budget while advising retailers on investments and aligning with Ace’s cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in project management, retail operations, store development, construction management, business consulting, account management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Align with Ace’s values and stakeholders across internal and external teams.
• Serve as primary contact and trusted advisor for retailers throughout project lifecycle.
• Consult, develop, and close retail project opportunities through consultative selling.
• Educate retailers on benefits of renovations and store growth strategies.
• Build relationships with retailers, District Managers, and cross-functional partners to drive project outcomes.
• Plan and develop scope of expansions, relocations, renovations, conversions and new stores.
• Manage internal and external resources to meet project schedules.
• Assess retail potential to optimize market share with stakeholders.
• Review potential real estate locations and lease components with stakeholders.
• Track project updates using corporate PM tools and conduct site visits for progress.
