Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in the United States is seeking an experienced Retail Development Manager (Retail Operations Project Manager) to prospect, sell, lead and manage retail projects across Louisiana.

You will align with Ace values, consult with retailers, develop project scopes, and coordinate with district managers to maximize market share while meeting schedule and budget. This role requires travel, strong communication, and a track record of successful renovations and expansions.

Qualifications

• Experience in capital project selling and retail expansions
• Able to develop scope and estimates for retail projects
• Travel overnight may be required
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Experience with lease review and landlord criteria

Responsibilities

• Consult and close sales of retail projects with retailers and candidates.
• Plan and develop scope for expansion, relocation, renovation, and new stores.
• Coordinate with the District Managers to support store renovations.
• Manage internal and external resources to meet schedules.
• Track project updates and maintain project management tools.
• Visit sites to ensure proper installation and turnover to retailers.
