Job summary

Vivant is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Technology Support Specialist to manage and troubleshoot technology systems across multiple restaurant locations. You will support Toast POS, online ordering, back-office software, Microsoft 365, and basic network connectivity, ensuring systems run reliably and issues are resolved quickly.

This role is an individual contributor, working remotely with restaurant teams, coordinating with vendors, and owning problems from diagnosis to resolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on restaurant technology support in multi-location setups.
• Hands-on Toast POS administration with menus, modifiers, and permissions.
• Experience with Olo, Restaurant365, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience supporting restaurant openings / go-live projects.
• Independent troubleshooting and root-cause problem solving.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Toast POS environments across locations.
• Support online ordering and system integrations (Olo, Restaurant365).
• Administer IT tasks in Microsoft 365 and manage network basics.
• Configure new restaurant go-lives and perform pre-launch testing.
• Own tickets from report to resolution and document solutions.
