You will support escrow officers, closing teams, lenders, and agents by researching records, identifying title issues, and communicating findings clearly.

This 100% remote, full-time role requires accuracy, knowledge of title standards, and timely production of title products.

Qualifications

• Must review residential title records and determine ownership
• Identify title issues and suggest curative actions
• Ability to interpret deeds, mortgages, and tax records
• Proficient with title commitments and endorsements
• Knowledge of title insurance terminology and standards

Responsibilities

• Examine residential titles to determine ownership and encumbrances
• Research title plant records, register of deeds, tax and court records
• Review deeds, mortgages, easements, covenants, and related instruments
• Verify legal descriptions and cross-check information across documents
• Prepare title commitments, requirements, and endorsements
• Update title searches and related records prior to closing
• Identify title defects and assist with curative items
• Communicate status and requirements to escrow officers and lenders
• Follow underwriter guidelines and title insurance requirements
• Maintain documentation in the title production system
