First American's Agency Division seeks a Title Examiner to examine titles for residential properties and support technology-driven title platforms. You will analyze records, identify gaps, and prepare title commitments with established guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of multistate title examination experience.
• State license(s) if required.

Responsabilités

• Perform title examinations and review chains of title for a range of title orders, primarily residential.
• Abstract and analyze records including mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plat and map books to determine ownership and verify descriptions.
• Resolve title issues from missing or contradictory information.
• Prepare initial title commitment documentation using established procedures.
• Test title-related tools, platforms, and applications across workflows.
• Compare system results with examiner judgment and source records to identify errors and inconsistencies.
• Provide actionable feedback to technology teams with examples and context.
• Help define test scenarios and workflows based on real-world practices.
• Review reports and system documentation for accuracy and usability.
• Provide underwriting interpretation within guidelines.
