Job summary

CohnReznick is hiring a Manager for the Renewable Energy team within Client Accounting Advisory. The role involves leading accounting engagements, ensuring timely client deliverables, and mentoring staff. You will drive month-end close, GAAP reporting, and process improvement in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.

Candidate should have a degree (CPA preferred), experience with consolidations, and strong Excel/Office skills to support diverse client needs in renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree, CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience leading CAS/CAAS engagements in public accounting.
• Proven ability to drive month-end close and manage deadlines.
• Strong GAAP experience including consolidations, GL close and reporting.
• Renewable Energy experience with projects and related entities.
• Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, BILL Spend.
• Excellent project and time management; detail-oriented and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Renewable Energy CAS/CAAS engagements for clients.
• Own month-end close, deadlines, and accuracy across teams.
• Review work, mentor staff, and ensure quality and scope alignment.
• Enhance processes, manage client relationships, and communicate issues to leadership.
• Develop proficiency with accounting technology and tools used by the team.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional ethics.
