Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a project and general accounting setting.
• Experience with multi-entity or consolidated environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.
• Ability to lead month-end and quarter-end close processes in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting across a portfolio of renewable energy assets at varying stages of development to operating projects.
• Track development costs, capitalization thresholds, and asset transfers per GAAP.
• Prepare and maintain work-in-progress schedules.
• Manage fixed asset accounting including depreciation and impairment assessments.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes for projects and corporate accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and intercompany eliminations per ASC 810.
