Job summary

ERM is hiring an Electrical Engineer focused on power, energy, and renewables site design, working remotely, preferably in the Western US. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Scientists in planning and designing renewable energy projects, including solar, battery storage, and wind systems.

This full-time role requires a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of electrical design experience. Expect to interact with varied project teams and have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of technical experience in electrical design.
• Experience with power system simulation and modeling software.
• EIT certification or Professional Engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare electrical designs, including one- and three-line diagrams.
• Evaluate field data and prepare engineering reports and cost estimates.
• Conduct field investigations and provide quality assurance activities.
