Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist I to join our team remotely. Under supervision from the Assoc. Manager, Specialty Pharmacy Services, you will process manufacturer copay reimbursement, reduce discrepancies, and contact patients with balances when needed.

Excellent accuracy and compliance are essential. The role involves billing procedures, claims monitoring, and collaboration with pharmacy staff to optimize reimbursement.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license; licensure preferred in states requiring it
• Experience with pharmacy, health plan or clinical insurance claims billing, benefit assessments, billing/claims documentation, or claims auditing is preferred
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Responsabilidades

• Monitor claims activity for accuracy and submission
• Ensure patient billing information is correctly set up in pharmacy software
• Respond to reimbursement/billing questions from employees, patients, clients
• Work with internal teams to resolve claim issues
• Maintain accurate reference information related to reimbursement and copay assistance
• Document information, insurance, and prescriptions/orders in patient profiles
• Comply with federal and state laws and uphold high ethical standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
