Job summary

Lumicera is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist I to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on obtaining and processing manufacturer copay assistance reimbursements under supervision of the specialty pharmacy leadership and pharmacists.

You will help reduce discrepancies and outstanding balances while supporting patient communications. The position emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to billing procedures, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve claim issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license is preferred in states requiring licensure.
• CPhT certification is a plus and demonstrates pharmacy workflow knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor claims activity for accuracy and successful submission.
• Ensure patient billing information is correctly set up in the pharmacy software.
• Participate in meetings related to reimbursement and billing.
• Respond to questions or complaints regarding reimbursement and billing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to review and resolve claim issues.
• Maintain accurate reference information for reimbursement and copay assistance.
• Document patient information, insurance, and prescriptions/orders in the profile.
