Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist I to join our team. Under supervision from the Assoc. Manager, Specialty Pharmacy Services, the role focuses on obtaining and processing manufacturer copay reimbursement, billing procedures, and reducing discrepancies.

The specialist may contact patients with outstanding balances and collaborates with internal teams to resolve claims, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• CPhT preferred and pharmacy technician licensure where required.
• Experience with pharmacy, health plan, or clinical insurance claims billing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor claims activity for accuracy and submission.
• Ensure patient billing info is set up correctly in pharmacy software.
• Respond to reimbursement/billing questions from employees, patients or clients.
• Review and resolve claim issues with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate reimbursement/copay reference information.
• Document information in patient profiles per SOPs.
