Lumicera Health Services seeks a Reimbursement Specialist I to support copay assistance reimbursement and billing workflows. You will monitor claims activity, ensure correct billing information in the pharmacy system, and liaise with teams to resolve discrepancies while adhering to laws and ethics.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, patient communication, and collaboration with pharmacists and specialists to optimize reimbursement outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• CPhT preferred; pharmacy technician license preferred in licensure states.
• Experience with pharmacy, health plan or clinical insurance claims billing, benefit assessments, or claims auditing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor claims activity for accuracy and successful submission.
• Ensure patient billing information is set up correctly in pharmacy software.
• Respond to reimbursement/billing questions from employees, patients, or clients.
• Work with internal teams to review and resolve claim issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of insurance and prescriptions/orders in patient profiles.
