The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a finance-related field or equivalent experience, plus several years in healthcare reimbursement and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or related business degree.
• Four (4) years of related work experience.
• A minimum of four additional years experience in healthcare reimbursement, managed care or finance; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Prior experience in statistical and financial analysis required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly payor audits and ad-hoc analyses for managed care activities.
• Prepare and analyze reports on reimbursement trends and communicate findings to teams.
• Assist contract managers with renegotiations of fee schedules and validate proposed changes.
• Participate in quarterly provider relations meetings with health plan representatives.
• Update and maintain reimbursement schedule information as contracts are renegotiated.
• Perform analysis and reimbursement functions in accordance with HCFA regulations and laws.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
