Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle team. This full-time remote position supports the Richardson, TX location, with a typical 8-hour day Monday through Friday.

You will review claims, analyze payer contracts, and support reimbursement processes to help maximize revenue while ensuring compliance. A finance or related degree or several years in healthcare reimbursement is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or related business degree.
• Four or more years of related work experience.
• Additional four years in healthcare reimbursement, managed care, or finance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts payor audits and analyzes reimbursement trends.
• Prepares and analyzes reports on reimbursement trends for managed care and practice management teams.
• Assists contract managers with renegotiations of fee schedules and validates proposed changes.
• Participates in provider relations meetings with health plan representatives to discuss reimbursement issues.
• Updates reimbursement schedules on shared servers as contracts are renegotiated.
• Complies with HCFA regulations and all local, state, and federal laws while performing analyses.
