Job summary

Binance is seeking a senior legal professional to navigate regulatory litigation and complex compliance programs in the United States. The role involves coordinating with the Legal Department and cross-functional teams to address investigations and enforcement actions affecting AML/sanctions programs within the crypto industry.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of private practice or in-house experience in financial services regulation, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ private practice or in-house legal experience in financial services and regulatory matters.
• Knowledge of U.S. AML and sanctions compliance programs.
• Understanding of U.S. financial products including crypto trading.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing large scale projects independently.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex legal concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with remediation efforts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Legal Department and management on regulatory litigation matters and relationships with U.S. government agencies and regulators.
• Support responses to regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and compliance reviews, particularly AML and sanctions compliance programs.
• Provide guidance with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with sensitive legal obligations in the U.S.
• Support regulatory filings, investigations, remediation efforts and enforcement matters as needed.
