Job summary
PurposeMed seeks a Registered Pharmacy Technician in Los Angeles to join the affirming Care Pharmacy team. You will assist with preparing, filling, dispensing, and shipping prescriptions, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
You’ll support patient outreach, insurance navigation, and maintain detailed patient records to improve access to care for diverse populations. Requirements include CA license and 1+ year of community/retail experience; flexibility for shifts including
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of experience in community/retail pharmacy
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends/evenings
- Knowledge of pharmacy software (data entry, billing, reporting)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare, fill, dispense, and ship prescription medications
- Verify prescription information for accuracy
- Maintain patient profiles and pharmacy databases
- Perform final checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
