Job summary

PurposeMed is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join Affimring Care Pharmacy in Los Angeles. You will prepare, fill, and dispense prescription medications, manage patient profiles, and support end-to-end dispensing with thorough quality checks.

We offer a compensation range of $45,000–$52,000 USD per year, stock options, generous vacation and health benefits, and a supportive, inclusive team environment. Experience with PioneerRx is a plus, bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• California license as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing.
• 1+ years of experience in community/retail as a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software (data entry, billing, reporting) and ability to troubleshoot.
• Positive attitude, sense of urgency, and team player mentality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and set priorities.
• Active listening and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, fill, dispense, ship and check prescription medications; support prescription operations.
• Create and update patient profiles and maintain pharmacy databases.
• Oversee end-to-end prescription process: labeling, dispensing, packaging, and shipping.
• Perform final checks for accuracy and compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dispensary.
