Job summary

Transamerica Retirement Solutions seeks a Regional Vice President to drive the sale of qualified retirement plans to small and mid-sized markets through all channels of financial intermediaries. You will operate within an assigned territory to meet company objectives as a market leader.

This role requires prospecting, advisor development, plan sponsor relationships, and active management of a territory. Travel >50% and remote field work are expected, with competitive pay, annual bonus

Qualifications

• Three years of sales experience in the retirement plan industry.
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses are required.
• Life & Health License required.
• In-depth understanding of the retirement market and ERISA.
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients within territory to achieve sales goals.
• Develop a network of advisors, consultants, and other third party intermediaries focused on the retirement industry.
• Develop plan sponsor relationships through direct meetings with key contacts.
• Participate in proactive marketing campaigns.
• Manage a territory of target prospects.
