Job summary

SurTec Inc., part of the Freudenberg Group, is seeking a Project Manager - Cold Forming to drive sales growth in the Wire Drawing Materials and Lubricants sector. You will identify new business opportunities, offer technical guidance to customers, and support sales through visits, tools, and consulting while coordinating with QA and, if needed, R&D.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science, willingness to travel 50–60% within the US, and proven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
• Willingness to travel within district (50-60%). US or other as needed.
• Proven work experience in technical sales, preferably in the Wire Drawing industry.
• Strong understanding of surface treatment technologies and their applications in the Wire Drawing Industry.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the field of Wire Drawing Materials and Lubricants
• Offer technical support and guidance to customers, helping them understand the benefits and applications of our products
• Support of sales through targeted customer visits, sales tools, and technical/commercial consulting
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems
• Regional responsibility with a high priority targeting the areas of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, and Florida
